To the fells at Kiilopää
Kiilopää is a fell centre south of Saariselkä, popular for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking in Urho Kekkonen National Park. The last part of the road leaves the main highway, so a pre-booked transfer is the easiest way to arrive with your luggage and equipment.
From Ivalo Airport the drive takes roughly 40–50 minutes depending on weather and road conditions.
